About Us
Meet Your Doula
My name is Angel Thornton-Burns and I am a military spouse and mother of two. My mission is to help educate and empower my community about labor, birth, and postpartum. I became very passionate about maternal and postpartum care after an alarming pregnancy experience.
After studying health and wellness more in depth, I felt becoming a Doula was my natural calling. Many people overlook the benefits of a doula and what our services provide. I want to be able to help many families have a great birthing and postpartum experience.
I have an Associates Degree in Psychology and a Small Business Certificate. I am a certified fertility, birth, and postpartum doula; vaginal steam practitioner; and placenta encapsulation specialist. I am also a Herbalist in training. I love creating personal and long lasting relationships with the families I serve.
Help Our Cause
Many families benefit from having a Doula, but not all can afford it. As a Doula, I support couples and families through pregnancy, labor, and the transition of welcoming a new baby. I service families during one of the most vulnerable moments in a person’s life.
